My creative journey has been varied and continues to develop over time. I specialised in Surface Pattern and Textiles BA Hons at Plymouth University, but my love of painting – using colour and light to capture hope filled moments – has always been part of my artistic DNA.

Following a career as a primary school teacher at home in the UK and overseas in Dubai, I felt a call in my heart to paint again. Watercolour ink became the medium I soon found delight in, exploring colour layering, flowing movement and glimmers of light.

At the end of 2018, I made the move from the Middle East to the wonderful Highlands of Scotland. More recently, my family and I moved to Crackington Haven, North Cornwall near Bude. You will find the ever changing beachscapes of Crackington feature throughout. Those moments of refreshing sea swims, playing on the beach, coastal path walks, enjoying time with friends the Coastal Collection is about capturing connections with each other and nature. Each have been painted using bold brush strokes of watercolour inks and are now available as professional art prints using UV resistant inks.
