Soaring into the New

There are seasons & areas in our lives that can feel like they are stagnant and stuck in repetitive cycles.

Soaring was painted during one of my own hard seasons where it felt like the middle in-between didn’t seem to have an end. I found that my Heavenly Abba led me on a journey of shaking off the old ways and parts of this season that no longer needed to continue with me in my next season.

The splats on the birds felt quite freeing and risky at the same time especially as they were added after the bird was painted! They represent shaking the dust off the old season and setting my face forward into the new season.

During this time I started to learn that declaring the living, active word of God over my life and these areas that felt stuck, such as ‘I shall see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living’. Faith is in something yet unseen, and trusting in the Heart of God for me that he would work all things together for Good.

The series of Birds in Flight: Soaring, Soaring with 2 Corinthians 3:17, Victory, Freedom and Liberty are all originally painted with watercolour inks by Artist Suzanne Field, and each are now available as various sized large prints with personalised options for names, dates, verses and quotes.

My Prayer for these art prints, is that they would bring Hope and Peace even in the seasons of transition and the hard times.
