Refresh my Soul Captures the wonderful moments of enjoying those rejuvenating sea swims with friends. A lovely scene often seen along the Southwest Coastline, this particular place being inspired by Crackington Haven in Cornwall.

A little detail behind the photo that inspired this painting. It was a lovely sunny day in March and still quite cold. A elderly Couple were getting ready to go in a daily sea swim, I asked them if I could photograph them as they walked into the sea, they were happy to let me. I have to say they went into the sea far more bravely than I would! Its always a joy to add people enjoying the coastline, whether its children with parents, siblings, friends, couples, it brings the landscape alive in a different way.
